Our LIVE online certification course is a convenient and engaging way to become IM Certified!
During this LIVE training, you will learn the basics of the Interactive Metronome training. In addition, you’ll receive strategies for individualizing IM training for patients with a variety of conditions, so you can maximize patient outcomes.
You must have the IM equipment accessible during the course to participate, if you are unable to utilize the equipment at your facility or if your facility does not yet have IM, we can make arrangements to loan you the equipment. Please select “yes” during the registration process to borrow the IM equipment for the course. The IM equipment will be shipped to your attention at your Encompass Health hospital approx. 1 week prior to the course. You will receive an email with tracking details. The package will include a pre-paid return label to return the equipment to IM within 10 days of the course.

Presented by Dara Weger, MS, CCC-SLP
Dara Weger, MS, CCC-SLP received her undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dara served as the National Program Champion for Interactive Metronome within the Encompass Health Corporation. She currently serves as Interactive Metronome’s Clinical Support contact person for Encompass Health. Dara has been teaching IM Certification Courses since 2007 and has contributed to the development of the Adult Best Practice Certification Course, Fall Prevention Protocol, and Interactive Metronome’s Virtual Certification Course. With expertise and experience in the field of neurological disorders, Dara has been able to accept this new treatment tool and successfully integrate it into her practice by modifying it to individually meet her patient’s needs.
