This study focused on the impact of Interactive Metronome (IM) training on the expressive and receptive language skills of a 13-year-old female diagnosed with a Language Learning Disorder (LLD).

After participating in 15 sessions of IM training, lasting 50 minutes each, the subject demonstrated significant improvements in her language skills.

Her performance on the Expressive One-Word Picture Vocabulary Test (EOWPVT) advanced from a standard score (SS) of 93 to 124 and her age equivalence (AE) increased from 11 years, 4 months to more than 19 years.

On the Oral and Written Language Scales (OWLS), her SS improved from 86 to 99, and her AE rose from 9 years, 6 months to 12 years, 9 months.

The post-assessments were carried out one month after the completion of IM training.
