Introduction to IM Pediatric Best Practices

This informative course will provide an introduction to best practices for the application of Interactive Metronome® (IM®) in pediatric practice. Participants will discover creative adaptations & strategies to facilitate maximum engagement, motivation, and outcomes for children ranging in age from infancy through adolescence. Current research will be touched upon as it relates to the effect of the “out of sync” brain on child development, including speech, language, literacy, cognitive, motor, and sensory processing abilities. Case studies will help illustrate concepts that are covered during this stimulating course.
