IM CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Those qualified for certification as Interactive Metronome Providers include individuals who are licensed, degreed or certified in the healthcare, rehabilitation services, education, athletic training, performing arts instruction and other related disciplines.

IM CERTIFICATION DESIGNATION

IMC - Interactive Metronome Certified
IMC Providers are professionals who have successfully completed their IM certification to administer IM training in both individual and group modes.


IMC Group Only - Interactive Metronome Certified (Group Only)
These providers have completed their group training certification requirements to administer IM group training to mainstream and higher level functioning students in schools, institutions and private settings in group mode only. 

Advanced Designations:

RIMC

Interactive Metronome assigns the Registered Interactive Metronome Certified (RIMC) provider designation when a provider has successfully completed individual IM training of at least 10 clients.

The provider must maintain a complete set of IM data files for all trainees and submit them as a unit for review by IM Provider Services staff. Following receipt of documentation by the appropriate IM staff, it will take approximately three weeks for review and processing.

MIMC

Interactive Metronome assigns the Master Interactive Metronome Certified (MIMC) provider designation when a provider has successfully completed individual IM training of at least 50 clients and one or more of the following:

  • contribution to recognized research projects;
  • authoring of a paper or article published in a generally recognized professional publication;
  • participation in IM�s product development testing as an approved beta site.

The provider must maintain a complete set of IM data files for all trainees and submit them as a unit for review by IM Provider Services staff.  Following receipt of documentation by the appropriate IM staff, it will take approximately three weeks for review and processing.
