Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior IM experience?

No. This course is designed for clinicians who are brand new to IM. You’ll start with the science behind timing and its clinical applications, then move into hands-on experience — no prior knowledge needed.

What does the day look like?

The morning focuses on the neuroscience of timing, research, and clinical case studies and equipment setup. In the afternoon, you’ll experience IM training firsthand — completing the same assessments your clients will do — and learn how to implement IM in your practice. You’ll leave certified and ready to treat.

Will I actually get to try IM myself during the course?

Yes — that’s the whole point. You’ll complete real IM timing training. You’ll see your own timing scores, and experience the training protocol firsthand. This is what clinicians consistently say is the most valuable part of the course.

What certification do I receive?

You’ll earn official Interactive Metronome Provider Certification, which qualifies you to administer IM training with clients immediately.

Are CEUs offered?

Yes. This course offers 0.8 AOTA CEUs/10.0 NBCOT PDUs (8 Contact Hours) and 0.8 ASHA CEUs (8 Contact Hours).

What's included in the $99 course fee?

The full-day live training, all course materials, hands-on experience with IM equipment, your official certification, CEUs, and access to ongoing clinical support and education resources after the course.

Do I need to purchase IM equipment before attending?

No. All equipment is provided during the course. If you decide to add IM to your practice after experiencing it, our team will help you find the right setup for your needs and budget.
