Tell us about your business: ChiroPro Performance Center offers the latest chiropractic and functional neurology techniques to get you back to living a pain-free life, help you recover your neurological condition or improve your performance! The doctors at ChiroPro Performance Center conduct a thorough examination to identify the root cause of the patient’s chief complaint. Instead of providing a symptom-focused treatment plan, we take a holistic approach to health care and treat the whole body in order to heal the root cause of the problem and provide long-term relief.
What made you look into IM? The ability to improve neural timing and have objective measurements for functional improvements.
What do you like most about IM? The ability to have progressions of activity, objective feedback scores and the option to do IM-Home with patients who can’t always get to the office on a regular basis. We also enjoy the functionality of the In-motion trigger set because it allows for more dynamic gait training.
Do you incorporate Best Practices with your IM training? We begin with the standard protocols to familiarize the patient with the concept of neural timing and to monitor their response. As they progress, we cater therapy to their specific brain condition and combine with other modalities for further multi-modal integration.
What other modalities do you use in your practice that you would like to combine with IM? Balance training with different surfaces.
What marketing methods have you found successful, which ones it failed? Word of mouth has always been one of the best ways to share success stories, most referrals are from existing patients. Additionally, we will use Facebook and social media platforms as a way to promote the benefits of Interactive Metronome. Two times a year, we offer a “special” 6 week package of Interactive Metronome therapy.
Tips for other IM providers:
Anything else? We use Interactive Metronome for rehabilitation purposes all the way through sports performance enhancement. The versatility and ability to combine IM and In-Motion makes it ideal for our rehabilitation needs.
