Course Description
This course provides a case summary and overview of treatment provided by the therapists at Kid Pro Therapy Services to a boy with spastic quadriplegia resulting from a near-drowning. Interactive metronome was utilized in his treatment program to improve his timing to increase accuracy in the use of head switches and foot switches to successfully activate and steer an electric wheelchair and use a voice output communication device equipped with both auditory and visual scanning. Additionally, following the incorporation of Interactive Metronome into his treatment, improvement in utilization of a gait trainer was observed.
