Course Description
This course incorporates gross and fine motor movements into IM sessions to assist with word development. Speech, gross and fine motor milestones that co-occur developmentally are combined to elicit maximum results. Fine and gross motor movements are utilized to assist with speech acquisition at the appropriate developmental level. Developmental milestones, neuroplasticity, and cognitive development will be addressed. This course addresses a wide variety of diagnoses. Activities will be demonstrated and can be modified to meet an individual child’s needs.

Nichole Reardon, MS, CCC-SLP has been a speech language pathologist for nine years. She is currently a pediatric therapist at Wiggles and Giggles Therapy for Kids which is affiliated with Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, NE. She received her BS in Psychology in 1999 and her Masters in Communication Disorders in 2002. Nichole has worked in acute care, home health, and pediatric outpatient.
